2023 Mill Updates!
Sales Area
Cider and donuts, as well as our other goodies such as breads and pies will be available for purchase both at our main sales area in front of the mill as well as in our lower sales area. All sales areas will be open daily 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Handicap Accessibility
The Franklin Cider Mill continues to be handicap accessible. A ramped door is available to enter the front of the mill sales area and to view the cider making process.
The lower sales area is completely accessible from the lower parking lot.
Online Ordering
Rapid online ordering is back! Online orders will continue to be available for pick-up in front of the mill on the porch. Look for the signs at the front of the mill. Online orders must be placed by 5:30PM to be picked-up by 6:00 PM, when the Mill closes for the evening.

Franklin Tent
Our tremendously popular Franklin Tent filled with your favorite Michigan homemade jams, maple syrup, honey, salsas, meats, cheeses and more! Look for our 'best' Charcuterie board products to please your autumn and holiday guests!
Apple Shack
The Apple Shack will continue to sell a fresh selection of seasonal apples by the ½ peck (6 lbs) and bushel (40 lbs).

Don’t forget to download our free Apple Varieties and Uses Poster. The poster is available at the Apple Shack and includes a comprehensive list of 25 apple varieties, which includes their flavors, availability, and which apples are good for eating, salads, sauces, baking, and pies.
Hot Dogs and Cider
Dogs are BACK!
Our regular hot dogs and famous Cider Dogs (fresh hot dogs marinated in cider) are back this season. Both will be sold in the lower sales area. Purchase your hot/cider dogs solo or ask for the deluxe, which includes a hot/cider dog, a bottle of water, and a bag of chips.
Cider Making Process
The Franklin Cider Mill is open for visitors to view the amazing cider making process. You'll see the chopped apples dropping onto a pressing cloth, then being wrapped in the cloth, layered, and finally pressed to make Franklin Cider Mills' award-winning apple cider. Seeing the golden cider flowing from the pressed apples is a picture that will stay in your mind forever!
Viewings are limited to 25 visitors for each pressing. Purchases are not available in the cider pressing area.
Story Time!
Once a month, in collaboration with the Franklin Village Library, Franklin Cider Mill will be offering a monthly book hour on Saturday mornings: Listen and Learn. Topics are all related to Franklin Cider Mill: Cider & Donuts, Apples, and Ducks. Announcements of dates, times, and topics will be listed in our weekly Mill Messages.
Weekend Mellow Mill Jazz and Chris the Magician
Behind the mill by the river is our Franklin Cider Mill Community Spot. On Saturdays and Sundays, mellow jazz is offered. Guest vocalists and musicians show up often to add to our weekend concert. Come play in the bubbles, dance the afternoon away, or just enjoy the ambience.
Come see Chris the Magician, he will dazzle you and your family with amazing Magical Tricks!
Mill Messages
Franklin Cider Mill will be alerting you about our specials and events that will be happening each week in our Mill Messages. Messages are sent electronically two times a month. Pet Friendly
The Franklin Cider Mill is a pet-friendly enterprise. Keeping pets on a leash inside and outside the mill is key to sustaining our pet-friendly approach. Doggie bags are situated around the mill to help you take care of your dog’s waste.
